DeAnna Power is a wife, mom and all around busy lady. After having her son in 2012 she decided that family is priority and changed professional directions. She is the co-owner of High Country Fence, LLC, a Norwex consultant and works part time at the local credit union, in addition to taking care of her family full-time. Previously DeAnna was the Publications Specialist for Pueblo Community College. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in public relations. Prior to working at PCC, DeAnna spent four years as the office manager/executive assistant for Miss Rodeo America Inc. In 2005 she held the title of Miss Rodeo Kansas, shortly after her reign she was employed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and moved to Colorado.
DeAnna grew up in rural southwest Kansas where she often found herself horseback helping her dad tend to cattle along with other farming and ranching duties. At a young age she developed a passion for promoting and preserving the agricultural lifestyle.
While growing up she was actively involved in 4-H, FFA, sports, horse judging and rodeo. She credits much of her success in life to skills she learned through participating in a wide variety of activities including rodeo pageants. Her involvement helped her develop professionalism and responsibility at an early age.
DeAnna, her husband, Jarrod, and son Corbin, reside in southern Colorado. Jarrod & DeAnna own and operate High Country Fence, LLC, and DeAnna has a hobby business Sterling Trails Design. They enjoy many outdoor activities including exploring the mountains on their 4-wheelers and traveling to various state and national parks.
